What did you want to be when you were a child?

I used to dream about doing different job such as teacher and designer. But I enjoy drawing and craft since I was a little kid. I like creating different characters and interesting stories for illustration.


When have you started creating jewelry? How did this passion come about?

I have started creating Jewellery after graduating from high school. I was attracted by the variety of the creativity in Jewellery design. And I enjoy play around with different materials and tell stories through objects.


What was your first project or significant piece for you and from what point of view?

My first project is transformation. I love animals so I use animal as my main element for my first jewelry project. I transferred them into the human body to create the interesting way for presenting and transforming into the human body.



How do you charge your batteries? What other passions and creative interests do you have?

I usually enjoy walking and traveling alone in different places to explore something new and creative ideas. I think that’s help me to organize my thoughts.


What does the connection between manufacturing tradition and contemporary design mean to you?

The combination of them such as traditional material uses in the contemporary jewellery is unique to me.


Is there a self-portrait piece that speaks most about you?

The Pop! Out of safety zone represents my story of me overcoming the childhood phobia, it is a project for expressing myself and presenting my fear in a humorous and meaningful way.


Which material have you not yet used is a temptation and a challenge for you?

For me, the material such as fabric and glass is interesting and challenging to me. I’m interested in combining multiple materials to create new languages for jewellery design, for example, to combine metal with soft materials to create the interesting structure using innovative techniques and design.


How was the pandemic period for you as a jewelry designer?

It have been a difficult time for me because of the inconvenience of sharing ideas in person and sourcing materials outside.


How do you see the future of contemporary jewelry?

I can imagine there are more and more innovative ways of creating jewelry and hope there will be more collaborative ways of creating rare and unique jewelry with other disciplines such as science, astronomy or even food industry.
