Collection Concept: Can you hear me?
"Constant dripping wears away a stone." is an idiom, originally from the "Han Shu·Mei Cheng Biography" by Ban Gu in the Eastern Han Dynasty (Ban; Yan, 1962).It literally means that water droplets drop continuously and can drip through the stone. It conveys that as long as you persevere, even a small amount of power can do difficult things.
This project uses jewellery as a medium, using silver and paper as the main material. When the audience wears, observes or uses jewellery, they can shake the work to make the metal inside make sound, or destroy the paper structure outside the work to change the form of the work and liberate the sound inside. The audience can use it to speak to the outside world, arouse the curiosity and attention of others, and achieve the effect of communicating with more people and conveying opinions. When facing Leviathan, speaking is a kind of conscious resistance. Although the confinement of discourse is like hard rock, each of us speaking out with our voices can be a very important step in breaking down the boulder and improving society.
