Biography:
Lorca studio was established in 2020 and was born from a passion for objects and a much needed way of expression and self-discovery. The journey started with a small workshop and a wax carving course at ‘Assamblage school’ that opened a new realm filled with infinite possibilities. At the present moment the brand explores organic forms that are inspired by nature patterns and is often inspired by sculptures.

Collection Concept:
An adaptation is an evolved modification that a species develops in order to better survive in different environments. Cellular adaptation refers to change made by a cell in response to adverse environmental changes. In humans, genetic adaptation to new environments may be preceded by much more rapid cultural adaptation.
Just like a cell our beings adapt to social environments. We transform ourselves into social chameleons that learn how to outgrow their skin to create layers that can be used as multiple personalities.
These layers protect us from intimate exposures whilst helping us to adapt to ‘uninhabited’ social grounds. We are simultaneously stimulated by standards that need to be achieved in order to outline a self image that can be rather false but when perceived by others, it gets to be approved as ‘you’.
