CASSANDRA IOSUB
Biography:
My name is Cassandra Maria I am 33 years old and I have been in love with jewellery since childhood.
My passion started since my 7 th birthday when I negotiated with my mom to buy me my first costume jewellery from Unirea Shopping Centre in 1995.
Since then I always found myself searching for jewellery, in every situation, meeting new people this is the first » hello « from the person that’s in front of me. Details and small » letters « that are told by this small pieces of art named jewellery.
So because of this, I decided when I turned eighteen years old that I would visit China inspired by their environment and arts to produce jewellery there, and then to present my ideas in jewellery on the Romanian market.
When I turned 27 I met a wonderful artist from Romania ( Mihaela Cherciu ) who inspired me to start to learn more about metal art and designing.
This is how I joined Assamblage courses and meet wonderful, creative people.
From there I decided to join for another two years the British Academy of Jewellery in London. 2019-2021.
Now I am building my collection in Bucharest and I am open to collaborate with as much as possible creative soûls from everywhere.
Collection Concept:
My collection concept it’s about lines, shapes and curves as I am drawn by feminine, fluidity, elegant shapes.
