Biography:
I am Francesca and I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Fashion Design and I specialized in sculpture and jewellery.
In recent years I have exhibited and I am exhibiting in Italian and International art galleries . In September 2021 I opened my goldsmith’s studio where I perform jewelry on commission and I teach courses in contemporary jewelry; I particularly love this type of jewelry for the possibilities that offers of using alternative materials, but not for this less poetic.
Collection Concept: D.A.P.
In this work I wanted to describe an anxiety disorder: the disorder of panic attacks. Like a thousand glasses in a living heart, the pain is intense, acute, deaf. Around the wax creates the same empty silence, where nothing can exist.All this pain must find an exit: the throat fills and closes, almost as if it were choked by excess.Finally the mouth opens: it needs air, to scream life.
