LIVIA ZAHARIA
Biography:
Zaharia Livia is a Romanian architect who started developing her interest in jewellery making through digital means around 2018. She wanted to explore the possibilities offered by 3d modelling and how digital creations can come to life. It began with larger objects like the stage design or installations for light festivals but also with smaller ones like engagement rings going at the same time. Since then she started opening up to the public on social media, on the Internet and trying her best to be present in various exhibitions.
Collection Concept: Paths. Memories. Guides
A path that has been set by an event or record. A model to follow which cannot be changed. Memories which record what lies inside us whether it is a living being, a sound wave or a building. Guides that actively help us find new paths and the cycle is repeated.
Paths that fade to memories which in turn become guides. All pieces were made using 3d modelling software and 3d printed then cast into silver or laser cut. What makes the difference is the individual backstory of each.
