MARINA DRAŽENOVIĆ
Biography:
Marina Draženović 2017. finishes school for contemporary jewellery design metal fabrication and enamel, prof.Davor Šuk. She has exhibited in several solo and group exhibitions. She is a jewelry designer, whose pieces are so striking and fascinating, that they appear to be sculptures that you wear. Her works are environmentally friendly, as she uses various natural materials, like wire and sheet metal from recycled copper and brass.
Member of Croatian Association of Artist of Applied Arts; ULUPUH.
Collection Concept:
The jewelry is in the shape of a circle. The circle as a symbol of connection - we are all connected in an unbreakable symbiosis of nature, life and destiny. The beginning and the end merge in an unbreakable circle. The circle represents wholeness and homogeneity, there is no beginning or end. The circle suggests eternity and is a symbol of protection.
