Artist Statement:
My work is a mixture of the high-tech and low-tech processes of laser engraving and enameling. Influenced by patterns in nature, I see to combine materials and processes to exploit the unseen or often overlooked. By combining innovative technologies with traditional tools, materials and processes, my work also explores the ideas of what it means to be made by hand in contrast to mass production and the future of mass customization.
