Designer biography:

Following her call for contemporary expression through jewelry, romanian artist Cleopatra Cosulet attended Assamblage-Contemporary Jewelry School Bucharest and Krama Institute Athens courses and workshops and also Ruudt Peters’s “Soul Now” workshop in Ravenstein, Holland. Her collections were showcased in exhibitions organised by Assamblage (Bucharest, Romania), Galerie Biro (Munich, Germany), Tincal Lab (Porto, Portugal), Autor Platform (Bucharest, Romania) and international jewelry fairs such as Author Bucharest, JOYA Barcelona and SIERAAD Amsterdam. The step she made from wearing jewelry to create it was coincidental, but those who followed were made consciously, determined and committed. Each piece is a concrete expression of a fugitive thought and sets an intimate connection with its wearer. Defined by shape and color, they're milestones in personal search of self.

Nexum

Where do we come from? Where are we going to? Who are we and how exactly do we truly realize who we can become? Are we the only ones drawing the map of our own path, or is it an interactive one, with multiple participants, each influencing the other by the way they act and react? We are interconnected entities. We interact, process, express ourselves, determine reverberations. We become. We choose. We raise awareness. We get to know each other better. Ourselves but also those around us. We are surprised to discover. Personal landmarks become conversation here, the word is born impulsively and assumed in physical form. The collection speaks of what was and what may be.
