Designer biography:

Helya came into the world in the year 1983 in Iran. She's the daughter of a painter who taught herself how to draw and paint. Helya felt inspired by reading several books about sculpting and metals.

For her education, Helya took Architecture in the University of Almeda where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Interior designing. Inevitably, in 2012 Helya launched her career as a contemporary jewellery designer and silver smith, and this started with conceptual designing based on stories and inspired by sculptures and forms that she knew from architectural world. To achieve this, Helya often used handmade pieces and various materials such as glass and fabrics, wood, plastic for reference. She was always concerned that concepts are kept in architecture, they are Imprisoned in forms and time; Contemporary jewellery was a response to this intellectual concern, because any handicraft, apart from formalism and empowerment, as a conceptual structure, free from the shackles of time and space, could convey its message to the audience and always be with them; For this reason, since 2013, it has pursued its goal by creating and Founding CHAARHE brand as a solution for this purpose.

"Ornament is the intersection of the conscious and the unconscious, the only human-made thing that can recreate this hidden feature for human," she says. Here I am trying to create an ornament through which the individual can understand my own idea, its own idea in its own space, communicate with it and have the same mental and implicit meaning for itself; "Creating a conceptual and artistic work that one consciously chooses to carry on one's 'body'."

Collection concept:

Chapter 1

Inter (Interaction)

Vessels and content have a visible and invisible, external and internal relation. This means that one encompasses the other, and thus a position is defined for each, depending on the form of belonging.

The space of the vessel belongs to the content and the presence of the content gives meaning to the vessel; it is as if the vessel and the content are interconnected.

The "Vessel" collection speaks of this hidden and obvious relationship and dependence on presence, a relationship that extends to the whole of existence in the world. It would not be Irrelevant if we consider this interaction continual.

In addition to that, vessel and content interaction can be generalized to any object in life; individual interaction, human and society, life and liberty, creatures and nature ext.

Chapter 2

Superstes (surviving)

Though we use the word “individual” so easily, there’s no such thing; every object has interaction with another. Vessel and content interaction of any kind always leads to changes; sometimes effectively.

Changes in interactions are almost irresistible and sometimes they can be overbearing. In attempting to save and sustain the connection, both vessel and content participate in one particular extra relation; surviving. To perceive objects and subjects in any relational form, they can be defined as part of nature, even the nature of their essence. Therefore, nature is the best place to analyze and learn about this apologue. Thus, vessel and content dialectics can be expanded and retrospective as a part of nature that finds its ways to release and survive.

Chapter 3

Prosperus (Thriving)

One of the best samples of this critical surviving strategy can be observed in relation between global warming and nature, including some of the most beautiful color-reach habitats; The coral reefs.

They serve as habitats for thousands of fish and other marine creatures. For people, they provide many benefits including food, medicine, and recreation, one interaction affects another. But these valuable ecosystems are suffering greatly from the effects of climate change.

Corals get stressed because of changes in water quality or temperature. When they get stressed, they undergo a life-threatening process known as bleaching. It has been observed that some corals have developed neon colors instead of turning white during bleaching. This behavior is the coral’s attempt to survive harsh conditions in the ocean to survive, they thrive. Similar to any relationship between a vessel and its content, the next step after surviving is to thrive. Thriving and unity are the main goals of such relations and the differentiation of propensity to be extant and extinct, which leads to diversifying life.
