Designer biography:
Leticia Salgado is originally from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. In her childhood, she was a solitary and dreamy girl whose great passion was reading. As she read, her mind transported her into the characters she was reading about, always women who were brave, passionate, and intrepid, exploring remote places and living extraordinary adventures. For many years, she worked in the hotel industry, but she was always interested in fashion and art. Sixteen years ago, she moved to Palenque, Chiapas. Where her father had a handicrafts business. She learned the craft of making handmade necklaces and returned to live in Cabo San Lucas where she started a handicraft store. For 12 years, handmade necklaces were her livelihood. When her father passed away in 2016, she found refuge and inspiration in jewelry and embarked on a new life. She followed her instincts and moved to Guadalajara, not letting obstacles stop her from pursuing her dreams. There, she studied at Mexico Hard To Find Applied Arts School Specialized in Jewelry. And that's how the jewelry brand, Leticia Salgado Jewelry, began.

Leticia Salgado Jewelry is a namesake jewelry brand with Mexican roots. Its artistic proposal seeks the authenticity and originality of each of its jewels, telling stories from a concept, and that is how its successful collections inspired by sculpture, aesthetics, history, and architecture emerged. Creative passion is the driving force that challenges her every day to reinvent herself to show the world her versatility.
