Designer biography:

Vadym Logvynenko is a designer and jeweler originally from Kyiv, he has been living and working in Bucharest (Romania) for the past 1.5 years. He entered the jewelry business 7 years ago from an unrelated field. He mastered the skill immediately at work without specialized education. Perseverance and curiosity led to research into ancient metalworking techniques and artistic experimentation. The ancient technique of gilding with gold leaf (better known as Korean keumboo) became a recognizable element of his style.

Collection concept:

The collection 'Broken illusions' is a symbol of our reconsideration, rise and inner power. As humans and as a nation. Each of us has established ideas about how the world is arranged. Ideas we rely on. But in a moment, everything can change when the 'truth' suddenly crashes down.

Things will never be the same. We are not who we used to be. We will never be. It is difficult to admit that our views of people, values, and relationships are sometimes fragile illusions, through the prism of which we perceive the world. With a feeling of liberation and gratitude, we accept a new reality, as if removing the blindfold of our old beliefs from the eyes. Thus, by collecting splinters and rethinking their meaning over and over again, we build our temple of broken illusions - the temple of new, stronger and deeper verities.
