Designer biography:
Emma Carrau Bueno was born in Barcelona. Moving to Milan she began a personal research on the contamination between fashion, art and design, driven by the desire to create a discipline without boundaries where all these elements can be merged. Jewellery thus becomes a way to experiment and search for new spaces, surfaces and shapes. “frgmnts” is a project of thoughts related to memory and time, a journey of memories through fragments of stories, images, words.

Patterns
My work is related to time by the process of repeating and connecting small elements to build a unity. Mainly focuses on patterns through geometry, repetition and mobility/joints. Geometry as my vision, perception of spaces. Repetition as our everyday gestures. Mobility as an element of constant change. Concatenations, like the actions of our life. I like the production process through which I perceive time and self-knowledge. If I had to choose a concept, this would be lightheartedness.
