Designer biography:
My name is Andreia Gabriela Popescu. I was born in Bucharest, Romania, on 04.08.1973. I have been a designer and manufacturer of contemporary jewelry since 2010. I am also teacher of contemporary jewelry. I always liked to create! At first my interest in jewelry came as an addition to my palette of concerns, being constantly drawn to art and creation, but has evolved into a career change. I create contemporary jewelry, unique and limited series, and also costume products. Made from gold, silver, gems, and semiprecious natural stones next to unconventional materials, my collections are strongly linked to the inspiration of the moment and comes from everywhere around me: forms, sensations, feelings. My jewelry always starts from a concept. I like to build on my jewelry the story behind them. Contemporary jewelry means for me applied art! I create all kinds of jewelry for men and women, but most of all I love to create rings. Rings represent for me a means of communication and of highlighting the important matters. A special ring makes you feel good, but it can also be the business card of your personality. My jewelry stands out through daring volumes and new finishes of the surfaces.
Their apparent difficult wearability proved to be complex and atypical.

Colors are an amazing phenomenon!
They are all around us and influence us almost without realizing it. We perceive the colors by looking at them, and then they penetrate our hearts. Colors intertwine with emotions and influence our reason and behavior. They influence us mentally, physically and emotionally.
The moment we focus on colors, we begin to understand what we are feeling. And by focusing on what we feel, we can get to know each other better. If we ”turn off” the colors, we will ”turn off” our feelings. We would lose the most intimate and profound ”tools” to express our feelings. In a world without colors, we would alienate each other and lose contact with our own inner being.
This is the alchemical power of colors ! It is the transforming power and how the colors can change our lifestyle and existence. They are the simplest tools we have at our disposal to enhance our positive emotions and nurture our well-being, and their effects can manifest instantly.
After a long period of uncertainty, insecurity, fear, and despair the colors can helps us to find the joy of our lives. They can help us to find the light at the end of the tunnel.
The collection contains unique pieces handmade in 14K red Gold and 925 Sterling Silver with stones such as white diamonds, garnet, citrine, topaz, amethyst, through techniques such as construction, casting, stones setting and resin processing techniques.
There are small sculptures in which the stone positioned in the palm transforms its wearer into a receiver but also a transmitter of the healing color.
