Romanian Jewelry Week 3.0 - Awards

 
 

The third edition of the largest Romanian event dedicated to contemporary jewelry, Romanian Jewelry Week, ended on Sunday, October 9 with the awards ceremony at the National Library of Romania. More than 3,000 visitors admired the designer jewelry in the central location and the other related locations.

For five days, Bucharest enjoyed exhibitions with over 190 international designers, conferences, contemporary jewelry workshops, guided tours at the National History Museum and the Cotroceni Museum, exhibitions and contemporary jewelry fairs dedicated to Galateca, AlbAlb and Dizainăr.

At the contemporary jewelry fair Romanian Jewelry Week, the public had the opportunity to understand the significance of the authenticity of each individual piece directly from more than 50 jewelry designers from Romania, Italy, Lithuania, Slovakia, France, Holland, Ukraine, Bulgaria and others.

The Romanian Jewelry Week Grand Prize was won by LILY KANELLOPOULOU, designer from Greece - "Working with the same material for a long time deepens your knowledge and sometimes leads you to unexpected discoveries."

Romanian Jewelry Week Awards

 The Grand Award of ROMANIAN JEWELRY WEEK is awarded to Lily Kanellopoulou for the outstanding collection and combination of techniques, materials and concept in contemporary jewelry.

 THE EMERGING DESIGNER AWARD AT ROMANIAN JEWELRY WEEK by the selection of the Romanian Jewelry Week 2022 jury member Charon Kransen is awarded to: Leticia Domingues and Roberta Consalvo Sances.

 THE AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN TECHNIQUE AT ROMANIAN JEWELRY WEEK by the selection of the Romanian Jewelry Week 2022 jury member Bernadette Pinet-Cuoq - President of the European Federation of Jewellery is awarded to Jennifer Wells and Tomas Miskovic.

 THE AWARD FOR EXPERIMENTATION AND INNOVATION AT ROMANIAN JEWELRY WEEK by the selection of the jury members of Romanian Jewelry Week 2022: Andreia Gabriela Popescu and Yiota Vogli.

 THE AWARD FOR SOCIAL MESSAGE AT ROMANIAN JEWELRY WEEK is awarded to Xinyi Wang by the selection of the Romanian Jewelry Week 2022 jury member Justyna Teodorczyk - Director Of The Gallery Of Art In Legnica, Poland.

 THE ILIAS LALAOUNIS JEWELRY MUSEUM AWARD AT ROMANIAN JEWELRY WEEK by the selection of the Romanian Jewelry Week 2022 jury member Byron Vafeiadis - Curator of Education and Collections at Ilias Lalaounis Jewelry Museum in Athens, Greece is awarded to Qi Han and Anna Fanigina.

 THE BRUSSELS JEWELRY AWARD AT ROMANIAN JEWELRY WEEK by the selection of Les Brucelles is awarded to Roberta Consalvo Sances.

 THE ISRAEL BIENNALE OF CONTEMPORARY JEWELRY AT ROMANIAN JEWELRY WEEK by the selection of Ariel Lavian – Israel Biennale of Contemporary Jewelry is awarded to Roberta Consalvo Sances.

 THE MILANO JEWELRY WEEK AWARD AT ROMANIAN JEWELRY WEEK by the selection of the Romanian Jewelry Week 2022 special awards by Milano

Jewelry Week is awarded to: Angela Ciobanu, Anita Polici, Elisabetta Nevola, Francesca Pennesi, Gena Tudor, Leticia Domingues, Lorena Jarpa, Lucica Rus, Qi Han, Silvia Cruceru, Andrea Vaggione and Xinyi Wang.

The event is organized by Assamblage - the National Association of Authors and Designers of Contemporary Jewelry, with the support of the National Library of Romania and supported by EUROINS and Banca Transilvania.
