Romanian Jewelry Week 2024, the largest event in the country dedicated to contemporary jewelry, opens on October 2 with a new edition full of creativity and innovation at the National Library of Romania. Three special collaborations will also mark this edition - Diploma Show 2024, the Goethe Institute, and AlbAlb. Official partner - Banca Transilvania.
With over 230 designers and collectives from 40 countries, Romanian Jewelry Week brings together the most innovative and talented minds from the world of contemporary jewelry. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover unique creations and interact with renowned national and international artists. With captivating exhibitions, educational conferences, and jewelry fairs, this year's edition promises to be a reference point for jewelry lovers and creators alike.
1. Romanian National Library - Main Venue for Romanian Jewelry Week
The Romanian National Library will host the central exhibition of Romanian Jewelry Week for the third consecutive year, starting on October 2, 2024, along with a special sales fair section on October 5-6, 2024, featuring over 230 designers and thousands of contemporary jewelry pieces.

2. Goethe Series - Michael Berger Exhibition @Goethe-Institut
For the first time in Romania, on October 3, 2024, renowned jewelry designer Michael Berger will exhibit his kinetic jewelry in an exclusive exhibition at the Goethe-Institut, accepting the invitation of Romanian Jewelry Week 2024. Known for turning hands into a true visual stage, Berger's innovative designs combine stainless steel, gold, precious stones, and dichroic glass.
The event will take place on October 3 at 7:00 PM. Admission is free.

3. Diploma Show 2024 - Romanian Jewelry Week x Global Creative Graduate Showcase
The Global Creative Graduate Showcase is an annual international competition organized by the digital platform Arts Thread for emerging artists and designers. The competition is open to all graduates in creative fields worldwide. Romanian Jewelry Week will present a capsule collection featuring 10 jewelry designers selected by David Sandu, a jury member in the Jewelry section, from countries such as the UK, Canada, Belgium, South Africa, India, Hong Kong, and many others.
