Biography:
I have seen life in the workshop since childhood. I grew up surrounded by fabrics and metals, motivated by the sewing skills of my mother, took me to study at Art School in Tenerife fashion design and then jewelry influenced by the profession of my father (industrial mechanic).
After having started my career in the world of film costumes, I decided to create my jewelry brand (Atri Galván joyería), where I like to play with materials, shapes and textures.
Collection Concept: RUMBRE (rust)
A space inhabited by men
A life in the workshop, leaving his skin at work and his life in that space
Accumulation of objects, pieces, tools that could perhaps be used again, put aside for a time, that time becoming more and more distant
Accumulation of places, places full of objects, of lived circumstances, of feelings, places full of dust and rust
Accumulation of people, experiences, photos, distant and close memories, trying to remember what it was, why, where it could be
Decoration that has accompanied them all their lives
Places now messy and rusty
Pieces stacked, no order, no use
I am talking about the workshops occupied by men, a whole life dedicated to the workshop, to their profession where they have accumulated objects, memories and the passage of time in those materials and memories.
