Biography:
Cheuk Man Au is a young contemporary jewellery artist and designer. Her work is concerned with human emotions or behavior. She aims to capture the subtle emotions of life through an exploration of the relationship between human nature and the outside world, and try to visualize the emotion through the context of contemporary jewellery.
Collection Concept: Connect Again
People project emotions on certain items, and even some items seem so ordinary in daily life, but they are intertwined in every emotional experience of the user's life, thus generating strong emotional attachment.The project tries to express the state of "repair process" through contemporary jewellery so that wearers can understand the emotional significance of "repair items" to human beings when wearing them. "Repair of objects" is a metaphor for "emotional repair”, the three-dimensional heart shape is restored through different restoration methods and materials, thus implying the connection between the restoration of objects and the restoration of emotions.
