Biography:

Imogen Cheng, a contemporary narrative jewelry designer.
She likes to use her own way to feel and record the trivial things in her daily life.
She believes that there are a thousand Hamlets in a thousand people's eyes.
Most of her designs are telling stories and emotions, she wants to resonate with the audience and share everyone's own experiences.
She always keenly captures the subtle things around her as a source of inspiration for her creation.

Collection Concept: Let the Past Stay in Our Future

“How can contemporary narrative jewellery and metalwork be used to keep unobtrusive but meaningful past daily fragments?”

Imogen Cheng’s Let the Past Stay in Our Future uses contemporary narrative jewellery as a carrier and medium to explore the relationship between objects and human beings. The work asks us to reflect on our connection to the personal objects we embed with memories and stories.
