Collection Concept:

The series of The Lost Cities (The Shadow of Chang'An & The Broken Atlantis)

Lost cities refer to those cities that have been forgotten or disappeared. These cities, along with their architecture, are witnesses of history and many stories. They are embedded with the memory of countless generations. Some of the lost cities are rediscovered, and they offer us a chance to reconstruct those fragmented beauties and stories——an opportunity to use our creativity to find new meanings in lost places. Some of the lost cities had been burnt into ashes or sunken into the sea. They remain as mysteries and fantasies to us, and we can only find our way to them in our imaginations and dreams. The brooches are a touchable representation of the untouchable ones. I believe. After all, as the lost cities still live in our memory, they are not lost anymore.

The series of True Nature ( two brooches and a ring)

It is perfectly drawing an analogy between human's true nature to amber. Both of them are children of great nature, preserving the long history in their essence. In modern times, our true nature has been residing along concrete and steel bars. There has always been a sense of nostalgia that longs for unrestrained freedom in nature. The concrete buries some of our true nature, but they are still there. Being raw, but they never degrade. May have been forgotten sometimes, but they never cease.
