Designer biography:
I started my artistic journey when I was 10 years old, passing from drawing to painting, molding and clothes design. After graduating the Art Academy I worked mainly with clothes and costumes as a scenographer and fashion stylist . After a while I opened my own art gallery and manage it for 10 years. In 2015 I decided to take another challenge so the Porcelain Studio was borne. It’s not an easy work, the process is complicated, but with a lot of perseverance and courage, new things can be done. I think I choose to work with porcelain fascinated by it’s final delicacy and preciousness, so hard to obtain, from the first molding to the final burn. I'm waiting for you in our Studio to witness the porcelain objects creation.
Collection concept:
A potter does not have the vocation of monumental constructions, but he can design, with the power of his mind, in the imagination of the spectator, edifices of beauty. In my last collections I was inspired by the beauty of the architectural ornaments that I discovered on the facades of some forgotten buildings and that I translated into ceramic material (porcelain). The current collection of jewelry continues my preoccupation for architecture and focuses on an ideal model of the staircase, not just as a ubiquitous object in our lives that takes us up and down in built spaces, as a simple visual rhythm, positive and negative, which can be replicated to infinity, but also as a symbol of my aspiration, of our desire, to ascend permanently, to the beautiful thought, to the divinity.
