Designer biography:
My name is Hanna, Lisova is my pseudonym. This word roughly translates as "born in forest" because my place of strength is forest. Nature is the main note in my art. I’m from Makiivka, which has been occupied by Russia since 2014. I lived in the occupation for 2 years, and when I finally moved to Kyiv, I started studying jewelry art in a private workshop. I was 17 years old. I dropped out of university for jewelry. Everyone was against my decision and told me that without official education I’m nobody. But I was ready for anything for my dream. Now I’m quite successful in my business, my brand is recognized in its circles, I have thousands of works done and more than 1500 clients.
Collection concept:
I like to create in collaboration with nature and use natural objects in my work, giving them eternal life in metal. I collect leaves, branches, flowers, etc, then I do electroplating, take a mold and cast them in silver, which conveys all the authenticity and texture of natural fragments, giving them eternal life, and people the opportunity to wear a piece of nature. Sometimes I also use non-standard objects - for example, snake scales. I adore snakes, I have two at home and when the older snake shed his scales for the first time, I used it to make a ring. Now I'm starting to add more stones to my works to emphasize the natural shapes and add a little luxury to them.
