Designer biography:
Anca Nanau attended the specialization courses of the Assamblage art and design institute. She chose the creation of jewelry as a form of artistic expression because she considers them "an extension of any woman's personality".
The Meltinjewels brand is a contemporary jewelry brand, created by Anca Nanau in 2021, in Bucharest from her passion for unique jewelry but also from her need for the artistic expression of her own feelings and experiences, for the interpretation of the diverse world in which we live.
Collection concept:
Face collection is inspired by the human face that plays a pivotal role in human identity, as it serves as a visual and emotional focal point that communicates various aspects of an individual's identity to both themselves and others. On all objects there is a face stamped, the same face because it is not about the identity of any particular person, but of a human face as identity and everything it represents.
The face is a canvas for emotions, ranging from joy and laughter to sadness and contemplation. It vividly displays the ups and downs of life's emotional journey. Over time, lines and wrinkles form on the face, representing the passage of years and the experiences that shape an individual's identity. The face ages, reminding us that life is a continuum—a series of interconnected moments that make up our individual stories. Ultimately, the human face tells the story of life—the highs and lows, the connections and disconnections, and the tapestry of experiences that define the unique journey of each individual.
In essence, the human face is a visual narrative of the human experience, encapsulating the myriad aspects of existence, relationships, emotions, and personal growth that constitute the journey of life.
