Collection concept:
Ani Flys’ work is characterized by the use of real egg shells from unendangered bird species that are reinforced to make them suitable for wearable jewelry. In the Garland series, the broken egg shells mimic flowers that are riveted to each other and to metal structures. The tension created between the two materials emphasize the delicate nature of the egg shell, together with its broken edges.
