Collection concept:
Inspired by the Proust effect, this creation revives familiar scents through the art of incense-making, serving to safeguard and rekindle memories that resist fading with time. Crafted with handmade incense sticks instead of genuine gemstones adorning the ring, it symbolizes that my memories, the companions, and experiences shared with me, are more precious than any jewel, deserving preservation. The ring serves both as a wearable structure and an incense-burning vessel, designed to rest upon a flat surface during burning. As the ashes settle into the gem-shaped setting, they etch traces of time and memory within the cyclical embrace of existence.
