Designer biography:
Zahra, a versatile artist, holds a bachelor's in painting. Dissatisfied with traditional academia, she explored sculpture, fiber art, and jewelry making. At 32, she turned to contemporary jewelry and won first place at Aria Art Gallery, Tehran. Her collection was featured during Munich Jewelry Week 2024. Continually pushing boundaries, Zahra's work invites viewers to engage with human emotions and experiences.
Collection concept:
As a contemporary jewelry artist, I challenge traditional notions of wearable jewelry, creating deeply personal pieces inspired by my emotional struggles. "Unveiling the Shadows" emerged from a dark period; each heavy, unwearable piece reflects the pain I experienced. Despite the intensity, my work retains playfulness, engaging in dialogue with my pain and transforming it into something tangible and liberating.
