ROBERTA PAVONE

Designer biography:

She’s a young goldsmith and designer of her jewels, born in the hot July of 1979. A great passion that for jewelry, started since Roberta was a little girl, which still today hasn't waned. In fact, every time she walks in the streets she is attracted by all the shop windows where she sees something that shimmers. With clear ideas about her future, she has looked out to the world of gold art already since her first studies, choosing to attend the Public Art Institute, area “metalworking and jewelry”. After gaining her diploma, she enters in a goldsmith workshop to gain experience.

Finally, in 2004, she opened her first own showroom-workshop in Pescara, to give free rein to her creativity and realize her beautiful creations. Her lab is still today the place where she conducts research of forms and materials, each day with the same passion, creating, always by hand, her jewels, thus making them unique pieces. Each product is the result of thoughts and emotions, which are transformed into jewels, reflecting materialized ideas. Also the choice of materials and stones comes mostly from the emotional transport that they instill in Roberta, so as to make her say: “They choose me.”

Random works coming from random inspiration...endlessly observed objects, odd things. Why not? Why not make jewels out of them? And why do we have to necessarily make sense of it all? Why does the human being absolutely have to label a concept or make sense of it? Creating means having fun. I have fun, and I hope that, after seeing this, you will have a smile on your face too.
