Coral Wanshan Huang is a Chinese jewellery designer, contemporary jewellery artist, and gemologist currently based in London. With a rich cultural background and a passion for artistic expression, Coral combines traditional craftsmanship with innovative design techniques to create captivating and unique jewellery pieces. Her creations are a reflection of her multicultural experiences, blending Eastern influences with Western aesthetics.

Collection concept:

My artistic pursuits are deeply rooted in nineteenth-century Romanticism, where creativity and imagination that transcend rules were celebrated. The allure of botanical jewellery reflects the profound fascination with nature and a longing to unravel its mysteries. Nowadays, AI creators employ algorithms and machine learning to produce unique artworks, pushing boundaries and exploring new artistic realms. These domains parallel Romanticism, inspiring us to embrace innovation and the wonders of nature. My creations blend botanical, futuristic, eco-friendly, and functional elements. Infused with styles from the nineteenth century, they showcase the fusion of human creativity and technological innovation through AI, modelling, and metal 3D printing. Meticulously crafted, each piece evokes purposeful learning, a cyberpunk aesthetic, and an immersive glimpse into a biology-centric future. Prioritising sustainability, I carried out extensive research into lightweight, recyclable aluminium alloy materials, ensuring that weight is unaffected by size. Innovative technology enhances jewellery wearing with interactive responses to body movements, offering versatile options for various occasions.
